Das Museum ist der Traum eines jeden Lokomotivliebhabers – und der Albtraum aller, die dachten, Züge seien nur zum Fahren da. Man findet dort mehr Zahnräder als in einem Schweizer Uhrwerk und mehr Pläne als in einem Politikerhirn. Der technische Bereich wirkt, als hätte ein besonders ordentlicher Tüftler beschlossen, Geschichte nicht nur zu bewahren, sondern fein säuberlich zu katalogisieren.
