Birrificio Torino is located in a two-story white concrete building with metal bars on the windows. Inside you can see their large copper brewing vessels and stainless steel fermenters. Parking is free along the street and it is an easy walk from public transportation. Just inside is the large dining area with tables on both sides. Their food menu consists of Italian pub appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, burgers, paninis, and a variety of main dishes. The place seems quite popular for dinner, with lots of happy dining patrons. Soft background music is playing under the layered conversations, and the old wooden floor creaks slightly. The walls are white with brick and wood trim and there is a central metal staircase going to an upper floor. On the left is the bar area and brewery. They have a 2-sided red-marble composite topped bar with 12 comfortable wooden chairs. The top of the bar is decorated with the script BT logo in yellow. Behind the bar are 3 stainless steel tap towers, and chalkboards list their 5 draft house beers. These are delicious and span the range from light to heavy. My favorite is their Rufus Bock. Sitting at the bar you also get a closer look at the beautiful shiny copper brewing vessels behind the bar. The staff is friendly and proficient, and the place has a charming...
Read moreI love beer. I don’t really like wine or any other spirit. But I love beer! I love go to Irish pubs when abroad because they’re the only ones that can treat you when you’re out for a good beer. When I asked for suggestions for a good beer in town and I got this place I really didn’t expect what I found. This place was built 24 years ago and they started brewing their own artisanal beer since then. When you come here you find homelike cordiality, smily faces and people you quick end up to call friends. Every time I can I come here: there are all kind of beers (IPA is a must here). And the pizza al padellino is one of the best in town. I don’t like leaving reviews out of places. But I’ve know these guys a long time. This place is a must place you want to visit in town. You don’t want pizza? They have got burgers (crazy ones)! And if you are smart you get here in between 6 to 7 pm! That’s happy hour! Means your beers are discounted 50%! I don’t like reviews but some places deserve it. This is...
Read moreIve become a regular when its time for a night out at a restaurant. Very high quality food, i will always order the Gran Tagliata, a rather large piece of extremely high quality beef, or one of their burgers, I have liked all the ones ive tried so far. The portions are generous, never had to order any extras to fill myself.
I cant drink beer due to health reasons (mind its not that im gluten intolerant, for they do offer a gluten free beer option on their menu!) but the food is good enough to be a reason to go at least once a week for me.
Its a bit far from the center of torino but living less than 5 blocks from the place makes visits a no-brainer.
The crepes are godlike! Give it a go! Arrive early or get an appointment, it gets quite...
