美國村的熱情豔陽，烤炙著大地，讓嬌貴的朋友妻有些招架不住這酷暑的洗禮。幸得永旺北谷購物中心近在咫尺，我們便將朋友夫妻倆安頓於此，而我與內子則被不遠處的一抹湛藍深深吸引，那便是迷人的北谷公園。 依循地圖所示，北谷公園不僅擁有細軟的沙灘與廣闊的綠地，更藏匿著棒球場等運動設施，果然不負日本「運動之國」的美譽。這片天地，處處洋溢著律動的氣息。 此刻，天空湛藍如洗，朵朵白雲悠然飄浮，而海水則泛著翡翠般的碧綠，與遠方的海岸線交織成一幅絕美的畫卷。沙灘上，熙來攘往的人們踏浪戲水，或是在陽光下揮灑汗水，享受著沙灘排球的樂趣。對於他們而言，這炙熱的陽光非但不是阻礙，反而像是一帖滋養心靈的營養劑，讓生命力在此恣意綻放。 公園旁，貼心的盥洗設施更是為旅人設想周到，沖去了海水的黏膩，也洗淨了盛夏的熱氣。北谷公園，不僅僅是一處休憩的場所，它更是一首關於藍天、碧海與活力的詩篇，在沖繩的盛夏光年裡，譜寫下屬於我們的浪漫記憶。

北谷公園って、何処から何処までを言うのであろうか？運動公園は、陸上競技場、プール、野球場、ソフトボール場、テニス場、室内練習場、サブグラウンドの範囲を言うと思いますが、ビーチ、バーベキューエリア、足湯も公園内に付属するのでしょうか？２月の中日のキャンプ時期には大勢の観客が見えますが、近くにイオンスーパーや北谷ビレッジなどもあり、買い物やグルメも楽しめる場所です。 夕方になるとサンセットを美しく眺められる場所で、地元の人や観光客も大勢集まってきます。又、周辺には多くの外国人が住んでいるので、ジョギングや犬の散歩などを楽しんでいる姿を多く見掛けます。やはりこの一帯は異国情緒味わえる特別なエリアだと思います。
