In our inaugural visit to the restaurant located at the American Village from the airport enroute to the Hotel Nikko Alivila, my wife and I stopped by for dinner, following reviews of the restaurant on YouTube. We ordered Japanese tea at 450 Yen each, and the A5 Miyako Daifuku Wahyu Chateubriand beef combo set, that comes with three side dishes, salad, miso soup, and rice, at 35,000 Yen (after a knock-down of 15,000 Yen), which was undoubtedly tasty, delicately flavoured, and very tender, although pricy for the quantity that we can't get enough of. It is so nice, though, and is a good first experience. The combo set is an assortment of high quality beef, two pieces each, displayed with Japanese labels of the type of meat that we barbecue ourselves, although they could help, as well. There is also the himalayan salt (Yakiniku Fukugyu) where we can add to the taste. We also ordered a bottle of Chatan beer at 1,200 Yen that we shared and it was pleasant and mild. There is free parking in an open parking area nearby the restaurant. The bill for the two of us came to 41,470 Yen, including a service charge of 300 Yen each.

This restaurant is extremely extraordinary the food is exceptional from the moment we walked in we were greeted by a giant fridge of impressive wagyu cuts and once we sat down and were explained to by the staff how to cook our cuts(we had a grill at our table to cook the meat ourselves) and began eating the steak selection menu. We all agreed that this was easily one of the top 5 meals we have ever had and easily the best cuts of meat any of us had ever eaten. If you are able to go here I highly recommend going here it was 100% worth the trip and I hope in the future I have an opportunity to come eat here again. It is a little pricy but that is to be expected considering that it is the best cuts of meat on the planet. The staff were so kind and explained everything to us extremely well.

My husband loves wagyu so much, and hence we come here for our weekend dinner. Waitress was so helpful. She patiently explained the menu to us. By introducing the cow farm in Miyakojima, we realised the uniqueness of the meat they served. We saw that there were meat set with lower prices , however, after knowing the origin of the meat, we decided to upgrade and try their best A5 combo set. People said the grill is weak. Since I was drinking wine and chatting with my husband, we did not think that would be too slow for our meal. Pairing with the red wine they recommended was a good tasting experience. The lovely waitress greet us smile and share us candy when leave. We would like to come again in another weekend.

I have to say I do not understand why this restaurant has such high rating, my first and my last time visiting here. Some of the wagyu meat was not fresh (dark color) and I had to ask for a change. The cooking roaster could be an issue as the temperature was NOT high enough at all, this is the key to sear and keep the juice in the meat. The waiter was not attentive and feels like he wants to get off work asap. And it’s definitely overpriced for what it’s worth. If you are looking for Yakiniku in JP I’d suggest to go somewhere else. Sorry to say but it’s true.

I was strolling through American Village and started to get hungry during the evening. I eventually stumbled upon this place which is a newer, opening restaurant. I am intrigued by the cleanliness, creative style, and friendly service. I ordered the “B” selection of beef options plus rice and it was served in a quick manner. After beginning to cook some of the beef items one by one, each item had a unique taste. The food here is of outstanding quality and the portion is extremely filling. Overall, excellent place to dine.

Well, this has to be the most expensive and saddest yakiniku experience that I had in Japan. The meat itself is okay though over priced for what it is worth. The cooking top is the biggest let down, you can’t even sear the meat due to the limited temperature which is crucial in yakiniku. There are other tables complained about “fire not big enough” but the waiter wasn’t able to do anything about it. You will be better off in visiting other places. Sorry to say this.
