Enoshima is a nice place (please see my pictures The enoshima ste is a must see and if you a anime or JDrama fan or you will see some very nice places and go to the beach. Go in the train and ride. Major anime, movie and TV drama used Enoshima or Kamakura as location: SLAM DUNK , TARI TARI , Ping Pong, Saigo kara Nibanme no Ko, Just Because! (Anime, 2017) and my favorite Drama Enoshima Prism. Or you going to Kōtoku-in and see a big Buddha, or buy a little to drink and Food and going to the beach. See he surfer and a beautiful sunrise. Don't go at the weer or the golr week, there are to may people (many thousands).

Really cool train station on the JR line. Older historic looking train and train station. A cool area to go see on a day trip during the week or weekend. A lot of things in the area to see along with the train station. The train station itself is cool to see so would be a great trip to go see it and other things in the enoshima area. There is parking in the area paid parking if you drive here and need parking.

The station had lots of character and so do the trains. People enjoy them so much they stop and take pics as the train travels by. The trains can be extremely crowded and at some points shares a track with the train going in the opposite direction therefore travels pretty moderately, speed wise. Also have a nice view as it travels along the coast.

The train has intervals of 15 minutes and you can expect it to get very packed in the afternoon. Many like to board and get off at Enoshima and Hase Station. There is also a small themed gift shop for the Enoden line. Some small cafes and food trucks line the streets at different times of the day as well.

日蓮聖人 龍の口のご法難ので有名な 鎌倉幕府刑場跡(現 日蓮宗龍口寺)の正面の駅です なので 江の島駅内には龍口寺の境内にあるのと同様な白い大きな四角い看板と紫の幟旗があり まるで龍口寺の境内であるかのような雰囲気を醸し出しています 江ノ島駅内の 白い大きな看板には龍の口ご法難霊跡まで歩いて3分と書いてあります 龍の口のご法難の鎌倉幕府刑場跡は電車からもから見え 江ノ電鎌倉行きに乗ると江ノ島駅を出てすぐ左に見える龍口寺が龍の口のご法難があった場所で 法華経を信心する人に日本中で有名な所です (江ノ島駅から鎌倉行きに乗ると駅を出てちょっとしてから路面電車になりますが 路面電車になったすぐの電車の進行方向の左側に 元鎌倉幕府 刑場跡に建った龍口寺と寺内の刑場跡が電車内からよく見えます） 龍口寺からは江ノ島駅が正面にあり お寺と駅の間には道路があって道路沿いに商店建っていますが江ノ島駅は龍口寺のすぐ前です 龍口寺(鎌倉幕府処刑場跡)の行き方 江ノ島駅の改札を右に出て 道路をモノレールの湘南江の島駅に渡って モノレールの湘南江の島駅ビルの前を右に少し歩くと左側が鎌倉幕府刑場跡に建てられた龍口寺です 江ノ島駅は龍口寺以外にも駅に 新江ノ島水族館や 江の島アイランドスパ看板が出ていますが 駅から歩きます一応 最寄り駅です *江ノ島と江の島の違い 江の島島内の住所は江の島1丁目と2丁目で今の江の島は江の島と書きます 1966年に江の島の住所が江之島→江の島に変わりそれ以降の新たに名前を付ける所は藤沢市では江の島にしてくださいとお願いしています 現在も昔からの江ノ島表記の方が多いです新たに江の島の名前着けるのに江の島にしなさいと名前付時に強要はされませんが 公式書類の江の島島内の住所は必ず!!のの方"江の島です 駅改札横には長谷駅に続きターリーズコーヒー 江ノ電さんは江の島駅と長谷駅の敷地内にターリーズコーヒーを作りました 江ノ電駅のターリーズコーヒーは2階建ての人気店ですが観光地の人出は夕方までなのでターリーズコーヒーの閉店時間も早いです

Nice service. Starting point of Enoshima island travel. Full of shops and restaurants along the walk way. Enoshima shrine and sea candle lighthouse on top of the island. Also Samuel Cocking garden around the tower. Good view points. Not miss to go once traveling to this area.
