[OCT 2021] Fisherman's Bowl (Seafood Bowl) is packed with Seafood All Stars!
I visited Funazen for the second time since my previous visit earned it high praise. I ordered the Fisherman's Bowl Set Meal (¥2,100). It was prepared by the young male staff member who I believe made it for me last time as well. Last time, it was highly rated for being generously filled for the price. How about this time?
Wow! I discovered the Seafood All Stars gathered together inside the bowl. Amazing! Oh, bonito's on there too. It's the Returning Bonito. Despite its rich fat content, it lacked the characteristic fishy odor of bonito. Of course, Fresh whitebait and Boiled whitebait were included, and Scallops and Conger eel were also participating in the match. Not only Mackerel sashimi, but I found the Namero! That's amazing!
The sound of oil sizzling filled the air, yet even Shinjo made with shiso leaves was piled on top. It's beyond the pale. The warm Shinjo stood out among the cold rice and seafood.
