JR Hakata City is a massive complex with shopping, dining and entertainment facilities. It is also a transportation hub.

Amu Plaza and Amu Est are for those who like to shop for clothing, fashion accessories, housewares and gifts. There are close to 50 restaurants and a cinema multiplex on the top two floors of Amu Plaza.
