Pokémon Center FUKUOKA — Attraction in Fukuoka

Went to purchase a few items. When I was asked what plastic bag I wanted I asked for the largest one thinking it would be like the Nintendo stores so you can get the unique designs even if you don’t necessarily need that bag. There was no initial issue until the lady next to the guy serving me said something to him about this and then he proceeded to chat into his ear peace for a good few moments and then present me with a translator advising I have to get a bag that fits my items and they won’t let me take the larger bag. I tried to explain my point but fell on deaf ears. This guy could speak English perfectly well so nothing was lost in translation.

It shouldn’t matter what items fit into the bags if I’m paying the extra money for the product then I should receive what I’m requesting. No I’m not a customer is always right person, but for just a plastic bag let the customer pay for what...

A quaint little official Pokemon store inside of the department store. The store offers everything you would find in a bigger Pokemon center, albeit with a smaller selection. They offer all kinds of Pokemon merchandise such as trading cards, plush dolls, tableware, stationary, stickers, blind boxes and much much more. Situated on the 8th floor of the department store, JR HAKATA CITY, it's just across from the bookstore. Today I had some unpleasant experience in Pokémon center. There was a female staff sent out free sticker at the entrance, she gave me an orange one, but the green one is my favorite, so I asked her if I could switch. She refused and gave the next customer the green one. I was standing next to her and wanted to see if there was any chance to change. In the end the customer after me who got the green one switched with me. And she is very nice. I think the most people I have met in Japan are very friendly and nice.
