Living in Tokyo, I forget that there are coffee shops which allow smoking. Frankly, it was an unpleasant surprise, although I'm also glad there are places where smokers feel welcome. I love old coffee shops, and the look of the place is great, but the coffee was just warm, tasteless brown water (I had the Chapeau Special). Worst of all, it's served in a teacup. I hate drinking coffee...

Great cafe for atmosphere, at the entrance of Across facing a small park. Very old styled wooden flooring and furniture, with classical music on the back ground.

However food is on the expensive side eth my hot sandwich set being 1200yen and it only has egg and...

We went there for iced coffee and soft drinks on a hot day. Unfortunately glass wasn't clean and the way it was brought to us was a bit rough. Iced coffee (iced long black) tasted very good but the price was super expensive. 3 drinks cost us...
