This is one of my favourite places in Kyoto, and probably the whole of Japan! It is a beautiful, tranquil garden with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the peaceful bird song. Although it is close to some very busy temples, this garden is very peaceful and there are no crowds. The staff were also very friendly and informative, and you can sit and have matcha and traditional sweets in the garden. I highly recommend.

Only one word to describe this place: serene. From the hospitality and service you get from their restaurant to the absolutely amazing garden and pond enclosed in its property. One feels as if traveling back in time and put into the shoes of master painter doing his work in this exact surroundings.

Hashimoto Kansetsu is a Japanese-style painter in modern era. The exhibition is changed monthly and includeds his paintings. You can enjoy the traditional Japanese house and calm garden too. It's near the Ginkakuji-temple area.

8月16日に白沙村荘で開催された獺祭と料理とJAZZを楽しみながら五山送り火を鑑賞する会にお誘い頂き、初めて白沙村荘に訪問しました。 白沙村荘は日本画家の橋本関雪がアトリエとして造営して邸宅で、広さ10,000平方メートルと言う、とてつもない広さの居宅です。 そちらには、画室、茶室、持仏堂など色々な建造物がありますが、今回はその中にあるmuseumの2階のスペースで開催されました。 会には獺祭の製造元である旭酒造の桜井会長も参加され、獺祭のこだわりや、今回ご用意いただいた２種類のお酒についてご説明を頂きました。 雲の上の存在のような方かと想像しておりましたが、とても物腰の柔らかい控えめな素敵な方でした。 このような雰囲気をお持ちの方なので、これほどの質の高いお酒を作ることが出来たんだろうと感じました。 今回のイベントにご用意いただいた料理は、獺祭にぴったり合う京懐石。 薄味でお酒の味を邪魔しない、とても美味しい料理でした。 今回は、このような歴史ある施設で、美味しい料理とお酒を楽しみながら送り火を鑑賞出来たことは素敵な思い出になりました。 ありがとうございます。 ご馳走さまでした。

京都遊客雖多，但在知名景點的周邊巷弄，還是可以發掘不少特色小店、以及靜謐的秘境，#白沙村荘橋本関雪記念館 就是這麼神秘的地方，緊臨熱鬧的銀閣寺道，卻沒半點遊客，真是神奇！ 白沙村莊是日本畫家 #橋本関雪 於1914年建造的庭園宅邸，後來還蓋了棟紀念館，與日式庭園一併對外開放。 但因遊客對橋本関雪不熟，加上入園費要¥1300元，相較於銀閣寺的¥500元貴不少，以及很私宅的入口，種種因素下讓人潮非常稀少，卻是個世外桃源般的秘境。 我對日本畫家也不熟，一切仰賴 google map 放大才找到，入口的售票大叔還再三跟我確認，這是日本畫家的宅邸紀念館，要收費喔！看到我要進去，很開心的說謝謝，還熱心跟我說要上二樓，那邊的view一級棒！ 果然真是很綠意悠然的世外秘境，悠閑的吹著涼風，感受山野林間的舒服，一個人包場好爽！ 白沙村莊・橋本關雪紀念館 營業時間：1000-1700 地址：37 Jodoji Ishibashicho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto, 606-8406日本 #日本探店 #京都景點 #橋本関雪 #白沙村荘橋本関雪記念館 #銀閣寺

庭園が素晴らしいです。 日本庭園を満喫できます。 中には、ギャラリーがあり、時折興味深い展覧会が行われています。 私はそこで、茶室、茶道、花道の美しい展示を観ました。 The garden is wonderful. You can enjoy the Japanese garden. Inside, there is a gallery where occasional interesting exhibitions take place. I saw a beautiful exhibition of tea ceremony, tea ceremony and flower ceremony there. 花园很棒。 您可以享受日式花园。 内部有一个画廊，偶尔会举办有趣的展览。 我在那里看到了一个美丽的茶道，茶道和花道展览。
