Decided to try their Kani Fest season-limited Rokka option. The place itself certainly does make you feel welcome, and the staff are nice and polite as they welcome you, lead you to your seat and offer the hot towel.
For my choice, I thought that the variety of food options was good, and the serving staff introduced each dish with nice professionalism. Depending on your palate, you might find some of them a bit lacking compared to others, but I thought it was nicely balanced. Having the sauces certainly enhanced the crab taste for me.

There was a language barrier but the staff tried their best to communicate with us and were very patient. It was my Mom's birthday so we bought a cake, which the restaurant was happy for us to store in their fridge and eat after dinner. The highlight of the night was when they helped us take a birthday photo, printed it and framed it for us to keep! Serving size was appropriate (although be ready for one serving of kamameshi per person if you order it). Price range for lunch is roughly ¥2000-4000, with some seasonal choices on the menu as well.
