👅 Omurice w/demi glaze + beef WOWOWOWOW let me tell you something about these breathtaking smooth runny eggs that choke slammed our palette and breathed life into our souls 🤪 Succulent beef pieces, perfectly cooked rice and OF COURSE those beautiful creamy eggs that came with a magical demi glaze sauce 🪄
The eggs melted in your mouth and the sauce was smooth, dark and savoury with a good amount of sweetness which balanced the dish and kept you wanting more and more!! 🤤 The salad was a great addition as it cleansed the palette and made the dish even MORE enjoyable.
Tucked away in a little street right next to a beautiful garden this place was run by a lovely elderly couple whose smiles warmed our hearts as much as much as their food did. 💕With no insane booking and only 1300YEN??? Definitely a steal!! 🍔

Read moreA true way of experiencing Japanese’s food. A real family (a chief and his lovely wife) welcoming tourists and guests into their house in order to serve them with food. The atmosphere was simple/basic yet it was elegant and amazing.
You will feel like a son being served with food by your own family. The food itself was tasty and the omelette rice was one of the best I ever tried. The prices were pretty good (personally I consider them low) noting that in general there isn’t an expensive items on the menu so you can try whatever you want. They even serve you with free of charge salad. Highly recommend.
By the way, there is no reservation and tourists don’t know about this place yet so go, sit, eat and enjoy before it gets well known and you will then have to...
Read moreWe found this place totally by accident and so glad we did. The place is amazing. The owners were super nice. The food is beyond amazing. It's Japanese yoshuku style food. We had the hamburger and rice set, a katsu curry and an egg sandwich. We've eaten a lot of eggs in Japan, as we really enjoy omerice but the egg in the egg sandwich was the best omelette we've had so far. The hamburger steak was wagyu and was melt in your mouth good. It came in a stew of mushrooms and eggplants. The curry was Japanese style and very tasty. The katsu was very crispy. This place is a must if you come to see the Ginkaku-ji or are in east Kyoto. Make the trip, you will not be...
