This is the best experience you can have while in Japan. We booked a tea ceremony with a Maiko while wearing a kimono. The experience of the kimono preparation itself was amazing, they take very good care of you, you can choose the kimono you like and have matching flowers in your hair, prepared by them. We then walked all the way to the historical alleys to take pictures and came back right on time for the tea ceremony. If you get a kimono I’d recommend booking it at least 1.5h in advance of the tea ceremony. The experience of meeting a Maiko and drinking the matcha tea was amazing. We had the chance to take photos and videos and see the Maiko perform a dance and prepare matcha tea. We also got sweets. All in all it was the best experience I could have during my time in Japan. Highly...

It was such a unique experience we had. We choose a Kimono from a rich selection, and went to an old Japanese house, which make us feel like we travelled in time. Yoko-san told us the pholilosophy and background of the ceremony, and performed an amazing ceremony. Ryoga, our photographer took amazing photos, and helped us a lot to give the right pose. We choose a private ceremony, so we were the only ones in the house. It was one of the top moments of our vacation. We had great time and got amazing memories by great photos. It is a must go experience. And special thanks to Yoko-san and Ryoga-san for this...

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Kyoto. Wearing the Kimono and being able to visit so many temples and fully immerse ourselves in the rich culture of Kyoto will stay in my memory forever. The private tea ceremony with Nana-san was a wonderful and educational experience that gave me newfound respect for taking my time and doing things with intent. Don't hesitate to book your...

My friends and I had a really special experience with our host Chihiro. This is the best thing we've done in Japan so far. From learning about the history of Tea Ceremony to making our own Matcha this was a truly unique and once in a lifetime experience. We also wore our kimono walking through the Gion District which let us live out our Samurai fantasies.
