Urban Hotel Kyoto — Attraction in Kyoto

It is a very nice hotel, with very nice staff.

The only things that bothered me: The pillows were not comfortable. The step to (and from) the bathroom is pretty high. And there is an open space under the door which makes the room very noisy, if there are people in the hallway (like other guests or staff).

On the other hand there are also some positive points of course.: They have in-house laundromats, so you can wash your clothes yourself. I had a great experience here! The whole property was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff helped me with all my questions. They stood quietly at attention 24 hours a day, ready to help. The breakfast (not included) was a very large buffet of western and Japanese food, with a good self-service espresso machine for coffee. There are umbrellas at the front desk for you to use, so you can leave yours at home. The laundry machine works well (washer and dryer in one for ¥400,) just remember to do small loads. This hotel room is really really small for two person. We can't even walking pass each other without one of us has to make room for it. The breakfast is good, and the location is closer to Fushimi inari taisha Shrine and train station. It is about 15 to 20 minutes walk. Oh one bad thing about the washing and drying machine. It took forever to dry the clothes, even with just two piece of clothes. First I was trying to dry maybe 30 piece of clothes, and after going back and back again to put more coin and time to dry.
