rude staff My friend, who has brown skin was accused of stealing when I went there to get a costume for Halloween. I could understand if security would check his bag and receipt first and called the police after they find him guilty of stealing but the staff called the police without questioning my friend even once.we didn’t even know that my friend was suspect of stealing before police arrived. They judged people based on the skin color.
Staff tried to ignore the situation without even apologizing to him after police searched his bag, card, and receipt and found no sign of stolen goods. When i asked them to apologize to him then a staff who seems like middle aged lady (maybe she is 店長or something)was still rude and talked in loud voice without apologizing to him and when we didn’t got out of the shop without proper apology then one old man came and apologized to us then we left the place and later found out that they charged us for two costume when we only bought one . Read moreVery crowded store. Staff at the claw machines were very unfriendly towards non-Japanese customers. Totally understand there’s no obligation for the staff to help but we’re just appalled at the shocking difference in attitude and treatment. Never experienced such poor service in Japan!
Right from the start, each time we tried to ask for help after playing many tries, they simply reset the toy to the original position. And that’s the only help they gave no matter how many times we tried to catch. However we observed to the other Japanese customers, after only a couple of tries, the same staff would volunteer to reposition the toy to a much easier position; or even go as far as stacking toys below the intended plush to keep it right over the edge.

The male clerk(younger one) in the 4F Medicinal counter give us very very bad attitude.
