Warning! This might be a tourist scam shop!

First off, we ordered a chicken fried dish, which advertises the staff will grill the dish in front of you. It already sounds scam as the foreign language menu states that the sauce costs 100 yen while the Japanese one doesn’t. The dish is delivered over 30 minutes after order and is pre fried without explanation.

When complaining, the staff will only say wait a moment and continue to do the work they were doing.

Then, when billing, we are charged items that we didn’t order and when prompted so, the staff just calmly say this is a mistake and dismiss them.

Combining with the price of fried miso pork being 280 yen per one while outside restaurants never charge over 200 yen, this is definitely not a foreigner friendly restaurant

Ps: the miso oden is actually reasonable priced and actually good...

Quick staff, good food, although not extremely delicious. I would say normal. And the beer was also nice, although little too cold (which is common in Japan, putting beer into glasses out of freezer). They have written menu on the wall (so if you do not read Japanese, you are out of luck), then some printed menu and also picture menu so you can choose from. The staff was kind and did answer to me, when I was speaking Japanese to them (it is quite common in Japan, that they do not expect you to speak Japanese and for some reason, if you do, they do not hear it.). The restaurant is bit small, and also two tables (we sat at one of them) exactly at the entrance. But nice view into the street. However, it could be little less noisy...

I was really disappointed with our experience. The food was not good, and the service was extremely slow — even though there weren’t many customers at the time.

When we followed up on our order, the server said “yes” and acknowledged it, but once he walked back to the crew, he laughed with his colleagues. It felt really unprofessional and disrespectful.

I brought this up with the server, but instead of offering an apology, he just nodded and walked away. There is also one server very busy flirting with one customer.

Definitely not...
