You cannot miss going here if you ever stopped by Osaka.

The whole castle complex are still as it was back then although the castle itself and some buildings there is a recreation of what it was. It is a very huge ground but worry not, there are golf carts driving around every few minutes that will take you from the outer area to the first fort layer gate for ¥200 per person.

The Main Castle is an eight floor structure. Before you enter the museum, you must buy a ticket from the ticket machine next to the castle. When you’re inside, staffs will let you decide whether you want to go with an elevator that will take you up to 5th floor right away which have a long waiting line(i went during summer holiday) or take the stairs that is not packed, a bit tiring, but faster.

Each floor will tells you bit by bit of what happened half a thousand years ago interactively and creatively. When you finally reached the last floor, you will be served by an aerial view of Osaka Castle ground and around.

Lastly there are two souvenirs shop, on the top floor and first floor. The two sells similar merchandises but theone at the bottom floor sells more variations, is bigger, and offers traditional foods to buy too.
