We stumbled upon the playground at Osaka Castle Park while exploring the area, and it ended up being a highlight for our kids. It’s spacious, clean, and well-maintained. There’s lots of open space to run around, and place nearby for parents to relax.

Read moreLocated less den 200m away from morinomiya subway station, we brought our 3 year old there around 3plus on a weekday afternoon before walking the castle grounds. It was a windy day and climbing up the steps to take the giant roller slide was cold after a few rounds. However it was worth it as we have never tried this kind of slide in our lives, not to mention it’s free! There are vending machines on site, as well as a water cooler and some benches.
