This is an excellent restaurant. Since it's a long list of points that make it stand out, here is a list: It is less than 2 minutes walking distance from the next JR station It looks and feels like a small, independently-run restaurant that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The curry is amazing. It's a thick, delicious sauce where you can taste all the spices that go into it. Other curry sauces often taste bland and not spicy at all. Here, they have 4 different hot spices, including habanero, for you to add to your liking. Meals are large and affordable. For 900 Yen, you get a large bowl of beef curry udon, shrimp tempura, a bowl of rice and a small salad. This is also one of the most expensive meals. They have a very decent English menu. This is sadly not the norm outside of tourist hotspots and must be commended. The chef speaks some English and seems happy to communicate. Food arrives fast. We waited less than 10 minutes for 4 meal sets.
In summary, I can whole-heartedly recommend this place. This is the place I chose for my last dinner in Japan after having spent 3...

We ordered hot udon, cold udon, and beef rice. The udon, which felt hand-made due to its wonderfully chewy and fresh texture, was outstanding. The hot udon had a comforting, rich broth that was perfect for a warm meal, while the cold udon was refreshingly light and delightful.
The prawn tempura, although appearing larger than it actually was, still provided a satisfying crunch and flavor despite the prawn inside being half the size of its batter.
The beef rice was a pleasant surprise, tasting slightly better than what you'd find at typical franchise beef bowl restaurants. The beef was tender and well-seasoned, making it a delicious accompaniment to our udon dishes.
A friendly reminder to future visitors: they only accept cash, so be sure to...
