Decided to give it a try after reading all the positive reviews—can’t believe that the review is real! I experienced it too, the owner were very nice and try to entertain me with his magic tricks. Lovely! His warmth and efforts to welcome customer made me feel like home. And the coffee was good too, I ordered cafe au lait double shot, it wasn’t easy to order double shot due to language barrier but in the end he got what I meant. I thought coffee in Japan wasn’t strong even when i ordered double shot, but this one was stronger than the others. Definitely will come back if I have another chance to visit Osaka! Wonderful wonderful cafe with the kind and gentle cafe owner who makes amazing pour overs. The Kilimanjaro is great for those who prefer a mild coffee with low acidity. I had 2 cups here cause it was so good.

When the crowd is a little quieter, he started performing magic tricks for us in the most nonchalant manner - much adorable!

As he is a 1 man show, he will sometimes turn away bigger groups. I will say this is a space to sit relax and sip on your coffee rather than a quick hit and run sort of spot.

It is a nice cafe just walking distance from the Osaka Castle grounds complex.
