This is a great workshop where they develop a robot and we can experience riding on it! You need to reserve the course first in their web Other than piloting the big robot, there are other activities in the course that they provide, such as vr fps game, coding a mini robot, and cosplaying as a space soldier with their costumes.

Since the robot is still under development we can only control its hand, but they are planning to further develop the bottom part! I am looking forward to come see their progress in the future!

The space for the robot to move is a bit small so be aware of the surroundings when you are piloting it. Also there’s no particulary seating or waiting area, so make sure to come in the exact time you of the course that you reserve. Or maybe just wait somewhere nearby while grabbing a coffee.

A bit of feedback for the team, it would be great if you could provide a waiting area/seating space (small should be enough), and maybe you can complement it with a handout of your company profile or kinds of project you can show, so the guest can be kept busy while waiting for the preparation in the future. It could be a great advertisement for your project too!

Overall, quite expensive but it is an exciting experience to try and I’m looking forward to see the future development! Lots of exciting...

The secret base is located in an alley about a five-minute walk from Ryogoku Station on the Oedo Line. After a detailed explanation by the staff, the VR experience has started. This is a game where you run through the air in the city centre and shoot down enemies. The moment when jumped off the building was quite exciting. Then comes the robot piloting experience, which is what I'm looking for. Unlike what I imagined, the feeling of moving heavy machinery was very realistic. I didn't hit targets. I came here because I wanted to have a unique experience, and it was a great decision. It was fun to listen to the staff talk about their love for robots and I highly...

I visited to experience piloting a giant robot and playing a virtual game. The games were very realistic, with detailed motion reproductions of the machines, and I thought the content would be a lot of fun for families, groups, and people watching the games too. The staff speaks fluent Chinese, English, and Spanish, so you can fully enjoy yourself even you don't...

My son and I had an amazing time here. The guide took us through the experience in english and was very accommodating for my 7 year old. It includes a lego type build which you programme the controls on a laptop, VR experience and then controlling the robot (reminds me of armoured core). I highly recommend booking in advance to ensure there is availability.

This was SO MUCH FUN!!! My husband and I took my stepkids to the Robot Base as an activity during our spring break trip to Tokyo. The staff were so helpful and nice and patient with the kids, and we each got to play two “training” VR games and then to pilot the actual robot prototype! Highly recommended!
