Cielo E Mare — Restaurant in Tokyo

I came here on two separate occasions, the first time I came for the margarita pizza, it was the best I've ever had, unfortunately I didn't get a picture but I just wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. The second time I came I got what I believe was an eggplant spaghetti (I can't read Japanese) It was also amazing. The real reason I am writing this review is because of the chef, it is very clear that he loves to make people smile with his food. He is very obviously passionate about what he does and he wants to share that with others, THAT is what makes this place so special in my opinion. I don't speak a word of Japanese but the staff here did their very best to make it easy for me to understand what was going on and to make me feel welcome in their establishment. I didn't catch your name chef, but thank you so much for your beautiful art. Your food and hospitality made me leave with an ear to ear smile both times, thank you so much! 住宅街の中にある、開放的なイタリアンです。 土曜日の12時半頃にランチで２人で伺いました。 こちらのお店、チャックのYKKの建物の一階で、オフィスというよりは研修施設として貸し出しているようです。そんなこともあってか、少し会社の社食のような雰囲気があります。なので、夜は会社の飲み会に貸切で使われている所も何度か見たことがあります。 ガラス張りで開放的で、こんな知識がなければオシャレなイタリアンに見えます。 広々しているので、四人席で夫婦と赤ちゃんを連れて着ているテーブルがいっぱいありました。

パスタ、ピザ共にだいたい5種類ずつあり、オーダーしたのはイカのボロネーゼとチーズの載ったマルゲリータです。マルゲリータにチーズが乗ってるのは当然なのですが、普通のと更にチーズオンのものがありました。 ランチはセルフのホットコーヒーとサラダが着いて約1500円です。モノによっては2000円を超えるようなモノもありました。

味は感動するほどではないですが、イタリアンの基本は抑えているので、失敗はないかと思います。

ビールは500円で、嬉しいのはやっぱり墨田区だからアサヒでした！
