Guest House SaKURa — Hotel in Tokyo

BE AWARE !!!!!!! They don't change the sheet bed after guests check out. They just use a roller to catch hair and spray it. I saw the employee doing it. That's disguting. It's really not respectul and professional.

Sorry but I have to write down my experience. I stayed with a friend on December 2024. We read comment before coming, and we thought it would be nice. What was our surprise when we arrive. The owner is nice, that's right. But the place looks old, it was not clean at all. I think they clean only once a week or once a month. Under the bed it was dirty also. The bathroom is old and dirty. The kitchen and the equipment are dirty. You really don't want to cook anything.

The beds are less comfortable than a fitness carpet. If you are skinny then be sure to wake up with body pain and ips bone pain.

Don't trust the booking grade. It really doesn't worth it. You can book a really nicer and cleaner place for the same price or less.

And the best is we pay, but you have to make your bed. First time ever in my life to have to make my bed in a hotel or guesthouse. Maybe the owner is waiting for the guest to clean the guesthouse also.

The rooftop is the cleanest place. It could be nice in summer.

Definitely the worst place I've ever stayed at. Everything is dirty and there's clutter everywhere. The man also staying in my room worked there which I've never seen that before and he had his friend come stay and they would talk late night and kept waking me. They were loud. The bathroom and toilet are very dirty and smelt bad. They don't wash the sheets when someone leaves they just dust it off and spray some chemicals or something on it. My skin got irritated from it. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time I was there and the beds are made of rock. Sore body and heachache from no sleep. I wish I saw the other reviews before I booked. They make you make your own bed which I've never seen that either. I think I also got biten by bugs in the night. One night the mans friend stayed many hours loudly packing and rustling plastic bags it was extremely annoying. I don't even know how you can take hours to do that but he was annoyed at me for taking 10mins to get ready for bed. Extremely loud and annoying worker who apparently lives there in the room with you the whole time, also eats food in his bed. They tell you don't eat in the bed. Seriously...

The owners are nice and the location is convenient, next to a great onsen, a 15min walk to the train or subway, with lots of stores and markets around. However, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, a very thin mattress that barely does anything, I woke up several times during the first night with my body aching because it was like I was lying on wood. The bathroom was also dirty, the mirror was completely full of toothpaste marks, the sink was permanently flooded and full of hairs, the whole place looked very worn out and run down. This applies to the kitchen as well. The owner also came to open my bunk bed curtains a little before check out time while I was packing my stuff, which made me feel like I was being kicked out.
