One of the best roasters/cafes in Japan. I say one of the best because we’ve visited so many fantastic small to large independent roasters on our journey around Japan. Single O is right up there, the quality of their roasts, predominantly light as befits their Sydney origins offer up some great flavour profiles. State of the art kit for brew delivery and a half century old roaster make for a perfect combo. The staff are amazing, knowledgable, friendly and happy to chat. We brought some beans from our favourite roaster in the U.K. and they were genuinely delighted and appreciative of the gift. The choice of location and building type is bang on for those of us who like to explore a neighbourhood and not feel like we are a goldfish in a bowl to be gawped at. Thanks again....

Really cool little coffee shop built out of an old warehouse. While the facade has a rusted patina, the interior is gorgeously maintained and has a very cool minimalist design. The shop has some outdoor seating, bar seating, and booths. There is also a free water station for you to use.

The coffee I’ve tried here has all been exceptional. The two cold brews I’ve had—Gichata and Uraga washed—were both really nice, though the Gichata’s lemon meringue flavor really stood out! The espresso I had was also very complex and delicious, with a deep and smooth flavor.

I’ll have to try some food from this spot, but overall I really love it! It’s down-to-earth yet sophisticated, and the product is perfect for casual drinkers and...

Coffee is great, as expected, staff is also really-really nice. It’s a good place to chill and enjoy coffee. The issue we had is that they were out of cold brew, so I took an Ice Americano for my husband. I asked if it was sour, they said no. Spoilers - espresso had expressive sourness 🤭 I mean the taste was exceptional, but my husband doesn’t like sourness in coffee, so he didn’t really enjoy it 🥲 The chunk of ice in the cup was so enormous, it made us laugh. The cup had only one hole right in the middle of the cap, (for a straw I presume), but there was no straw and the only way of drinking the coffee was straight from the cup, battling that huge chunk of ice 😂 …while driving Guys, get...
