SAGEMONOYA — Attraction in Tokyo

Fantastic place to see and purchase authentic Japanese netsukes. They are fluent in english and are very knowledgable of their products. I felt warm and happy from their kindness and sincerety. There are affordable pieces for me and high end pieces for the true collectors. Highly reccomended for anyone visiting Tokyo for arts and culture.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Sagemonoya! The staff sat with me for 90 minutes and shared their entire collection of antique Netsuke (probably 100+ unique pieces), masterfully explaining each one in detail. The pieces were all incredible, and everyone in the shop was unbelievably kind and helpful. If you are interested in purchasing or viewing a collection of Japanese antiques, I could not recommend this place...
