Chivalry (騎士道), a place where you can experience the ambiance of medieval France, was established in 1984.

The classical European atmosphere is evident throughout, with its gleaming chandeliers, luxurious wallpapers, and depictions of grand castles. Despite its medieval theme, the restaurant offers a wide variety of set meals, including many with a Japanese influence, such as pure coffee. One popular option is the loin ginger grilled set meal, which features a sweet and spicy royal ginger glaze, offering a delightful taste. The coffee served after the meal is also exquisite, adorned with a beautiful flower pattern at the bottom of the cup, allowing patrons to savor an elegant moment.

Classic old, dim vibe, appropriately dressed staffs, good coffee and cake, everything about this place was just right other than 2 young ladies constantly...

四谷三丁目で仕事の休憩中に喫茶店でランチを食べました。創業1984年という老舗。メニューは軽食からガッツリ食べられるもの、スイーツなど豊富なバリエーション。

少しお年を召したご夫婦が営業されており、まるで実家に帰ってきたような気持ちに。 制服を着たマスターが作るオムライスがとても美味しかったです！ また行きたくなる居心地の良いお店。

場所はレンガのビルの1階にあります。 路面店で看板が出ているので見つけやすいです。 2階もお店のようですが、ご夫婦で営業されていそうなので1階のほうが良さそう。 こちらへどうぞ〜と奥様に案内していただき、席に座りました。

壁やインテリア、照明もタイムスリップしたような感覚になれるレトロ空間。 トイレまでの入口もゴージャスでステンドグラスの洗面台も綺麗。 見惚れる内装ばかりです。

コーヒーは【騎士道ブレンド】を注文。 美しい食器に美味しいコーヒーでホッとひと息。 食事と一緒に注文すると「食事と一緒？食後？」と提供するタイミングまで聞いてくれます。

料理は【オムライス】を注文。 ナポリタンやカレー、ピラフなどどれにしようか迷うくらい魅力的なラインナップ。 オムライスを注文すると、ワンプレートに味噌汁、お新香、小鉢、果物まで乗っていて豪華！

お店の奥から「トントントン」と包丁で具材を切っている音が聞こえてきます。 ジューっと玉子を丸めているのかな、とワクワクしながら到着を待ちました。

オムライスは薄く玉子で巻かれており、芸術的。 中の具材はお肉がゴロッと沢山入っていて、野菜も甘みがあって、ケチャップの味付けもバッチリ。 これは自分で作るオムライスとは全然違う。

お味噌汁もナメコや小松菜が入っていて、美味しかったです。 手作りの味、こだわりのコーヒー、どちらも素晴らしかったです。
