My Fiancé and I came here with a reservation since we were interested in making perfumes as an activity while we were here in Tokyo, but we didn’t have the greatest experience. I was under the impression that the experience would be a bit more interactive where we could learn some things about perfume-making, but it seemed like they wanted to rush through making the scents to get us out the door faster. I’m not sure if it’s because we don’t speak Japanese and there’s a language barrier, but everyone else that was being serviced around us had much more dialogue and interaction with their host. Our host was nice, but she outright just mixed the perfume for us based on the card, gave us a single smell test, and asked if it was okay or not. And then they made the labels, rung us up, and sent us on our way. The whole ordeal probably was 20 minutes total. I wish there was more prompting to us on what notes to look for, what more would we like to experience in the scent, etc. since we’re not experts in this craft. One of my memorable experiences in Japan as a first time visitor. It was recommended by TikToks about this company to create your own fragrance. I visited this store in May 2024 with reservation but I feel like you can do walk in during weekday. I got to design my own fragrance by picking up to top three from their 20 scents available and the mixologist did their mixing to my liking. I got to choose the bottle design and the color of the fragrance since I chose clear bottle. They also include additional spraying cap as well. Overall, I was definitely amazed at their talent and customer service by tailoring to customers requests. Special shout out to Ayana for taking care of the whole process, she was very kind and patient and took the time to make sure I had fun and walked away with something that I would love.
