Let me start by saying, I have been in Japan for 2 days and can speak almost no Japanese but I really wanted to eat some ramen, so I was highly motivated to push through any difficulties!Ordering is done through a ticket machine which needs cash, fortunately there was an ATM around the corner. The ticket machine has dish names in English in tiny writing but my advice is decide your dishes first and then put your money in and then press the buttons quickly otherwise it spits your change out before you've finished!
Inside the waitress asks you in broken English if you want hard or soft or medium noodles and asks you if you want "spicy simple" soup or "spicy creamy" noodles ... Or something like that. She tried very hard and me and my mate having dinner weren't very helpful.
At each seat, there are a variety of toppings and add ons you can add to your ramen, though aside from chilli oil, I had no idea what any of them were, so had a look and a sniff at each one but didn't really know what they were so wasn't brave enough to try them. My prawn wonton noodles were delicious and I had some pork pot stickers too which were also very tasty.
Now that I have done it once, I'm sure next time it will be a bit easier - and maybe I'll be a bit more adventurous! Besides, the ATM only dispensed 10000 yen notes so I can get 4 more ramen visits out of my...

The noodles also didn’t taste as fresh and springy as that I’m used to from ramen in Japan. Unfortunately, I had to leave half of my plate because of the salt-fat ratio of the broth. It wasn’t as silky and creamy as I expected. Not sure if that was because it was chicken broth. The chachu had a great, roasty taste and a good softness to it. However, together with the ramen it was maybe a bit to much. The egg was perfect! One of the freshest eggs I have ever tasted. I did not taste the other dishes, but they did look good. Overall,...
Read moreCame here with a friend and it was a small little ramen restaurant and had no problem getting a seat around 11:30AM. Order via a vending machine outside of the restaurant, it also had English on it so this restaurant was English friendly. Take your ticket inside and give it to the person working there and take a seat. I ordered a chicken ramen and a rice. Food came very quickly and it was all very good. Rich creamy broth with moist chicken meat. Rice was nice and fluffy as well. Overall enjoyed the food and no complaints. When we left around 12PM there was a small...
