Lake Toya Onsen Illumination Tunnel — Attraction in Toyako

There are rooms with private onsen in room and the other one without. Please make sure that you specify your need clearly. The rooftop onsen overlooking Lake Toya is very nice. The water quality might be different from your expectation. The daily fireworks at 8.45 p.m. are excellent.

However the blinder curtain in room doesn't work well. So be prepared for the sunlight after 4 a.m.!! The breakfast is alright. The dinner seems to be the worst part of this hotel in terms of both quality and service. Ingrediants of food for dinner is undoubtedly of very poor quality. The Japanese station offers some sashimi and sushi. However, when I asked the chef to give me certain piece of fish. The answer was no!!! My 11 year old son was also refused the same when he requested.

The hotel offered my family some coupons that could be presented at the buffet dinner for special food on the second day. The options were Western, Chinese or Japanese food. We got some small salad with super extra thin ham for Western, some fried chicken at Chinese and some sushi with same fish as normal food at Japanese!!! What a special surprise!! We could not tolerate the food of the buffet line so ordered 2 more crabs at approx 4,800 yen each. After 30 minutes, they were not served. I had to ask the waiter who was not very pleased with my follow up. Then I found that the order was forgotten for unknown reason!! Some 20 minutes later 2 cold crabs were served. I just realized that they took 20 minutes to probably deforzen them!

I would not recommend this hotel for dinner at all. Room and breakfast only...

It a place of a beautiful light and have many thing to see and also it much easy to go inside of this tunnel it so peacefully to enjoy on Lake Toya Onsen Illumination Tunnel Open is Seasonal so ok and thank you to use my friend names :D
