As a frequent traveler, I rarely feel so disappointed with an accommodation. This apartment, aside from the convenience of parking and its location just a 5-minute walk from the hot spring street and the lakeside, was almost entirely frustrating. 1. No Air Conditioning: Although it’s in the mountains, it still gets uncomfortably hot during the summer. If you plan to stay in the summer, this is something you should seriously consider. There is heating available in the winter. 2. Netflix Misleading: While they advertise free Netflix access, the TV couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. Despite my efforts to reconnect and restart it for nearly an hour, I couldn’t get it to work. Contacting customer service yielded no results (they mentioned they close at 6 PM, so maybe it’s not entirely their fault(?)). As a result, the TV was practically useless without an internet connection. 3. Ineffective Fridge: The fridge barely worked. Even after leaving beer in the fridge for 3 hours, it remained warm, and there was an unpleasant odor inside. 5. Unclean Bathroom: The bathroom drain had hair left over before use, and the bathtub had a lot of grime inside. 5. Uncomfortable Mattress: The mattress was too soft and easily sank in. 6. It's got a kitchen and a fridge. Wasn't necessary for us since we wanted to eat out. It was spacious and clean. The bathroom gets cold as it's heat by a space heater in the main room. Water heater is good, tankless and reliable. Washing machine is good, but the dryer function is pretty typically for dryers here, gets clothes to be slightly damp. The location is a bit of a jog from the bus station if you're lugging around luggage, But if you take a right immediately upon exiting the parking lot, then the first left, you can take a flatter route than we took when we first got there. This studio apartment was perfect for our needs as we were only visiting Toya Lake for two nights and it had a stove, refrigerator and cookware in the room.
