Well where to start, if anyone is given apartment block 106 floor 3 apartment 2 - avoid avoid avoid. ||It was dirty, hair everywhere in the kitchen drawers, cupboards!!!!, damp mouldy disintegrating cupboard doors in the ensuite area. no air con in the main area, and the ones in the two bedrooms were ropey and looked like they needed replacing. Ceiling fans covered in dirt and dust! Supposed to be an apartment for 4 adults, only two mugs and one was broken, not enough plates so could not eat there, tumble drier does not work. Lovely big balcony, but could not sit out there as no chairs available. ||On arrival had to go to the local happy mart to but cleaning products to give the place a deep clean, the windows had not seen a clean for god knows how long! amount of finger and hand prints and well other stuff that we avoided. ||We checked in on 15 August 2025, four adults. We chose this as it was supposed to be a luxury family suite. Well its not. There were two double beds available, but both were broken. On night one the bed the other two members of family were in collapsed/broke in the middle of the night. The bed in that room was already broken, (I've attached photos) and patched up so only a matter of time before it went completely!!! no toilet roll holder in the bathroom we were using, so put back out reaching behind to grab toilet roll. We did not put the TV on as we were out all the time so don't know if that worked!||getting back to the bed situation. When the bed broke in half i contacted the owners, and booking.com who were non responsive. Little Cabin who are the company that own it said there was nothing else available and would get maintenance to come and have a look, when we did not know, communication was minimal, so we requested a full refund so we could book somewhere else as there was no where for two people to sleep. When the bed collapsed we all looked at it by removing the mattress, that's when we felt sick, there was all sorts of nasties, ie skin, hair dust and well don't want to know what else it was, so again performed a deep clean on them. anyway with the request for a refund Little Cabin asked when we would like maintenance to arrive, so said NOW!!! they said it would be an hour!. Door knocks and there is a main and his drill at the door. He went onto the balcony and went behind the metal door where the outside bits to the air con are and got a divan bed base (wet) from behind there and shoved it into the base of the wooden bed frame. He removed the patched up original repair (It appeared to be a small tray that had been screwed to the broken bit of the bed) and botched up the bed. It was then able to be slept in but our stay had already been ruined. We had to drink tea out of pint glasses that we borrowed from the bar down the road as said there were no cups. ||the whole place is so very tired and needs a refurb and also actually be cleaned as whoever is cleaning in between guests staying is clearly on the con and just taking the money and not actually cleaning. We left the place in a spotless condition which is more than can be said for us entering the property. ||Please don't stay in that apartment unless it has been repaired and up to scratch.||On a positive the pool area is brilliant lovely area very well maintained and security come round a lot to...
Read moreThis apparently is a BnB managed off-site by the hotel. The stay here was very unpleasant and the unit was dirty. Firstly, the sink stopper in the 2nd bathroom was broken and water can't flow through. Ended up I couldn't use that sink. The cabinet of the 2nd bathroom was warped. Appears to be water damage, and the bathroom stinks. The dining table top was with lots of burn marks and warped due to heat exposure. On the 2nd day, the balcony was totally un-usable after painting contractors move their gondola system to the balcony and come in and out of the balcony freely. When I report this to the agent, he informed the management to stop the work. Then I was scolded by the lead contractor in vulgarity and I felt so unsafe. I also lost a pair of shoes which I left on the balcony before the contractor came in. The clothes we left hanging on the balcony chairs was dirty, dusty. The apartment management did send the notice out usually, but the agent didn't bother to notify us, and yet still rented out this unit. The floor was a bit dusty and sofa/pillows smelly. But considering all other horrible experience, the dusty floor was nothing compare to the above-mentioned experience ||||I read the reviews online before I rented this place for my holiday. It appears that the different units have different cleanliness and quality. So beware of what you could get yourself into given that the standards differs. ||||The only commendable experience is gym is decent. The beach nearby - and not really beachfront as the posting claims though only a public car park apart - is decent. It is at the stretch where the speedboat and the water sports were launched so at times the air could get a bit polluted with diesel smells. ||||I won't be back to this...
Read moreThis is like an Airbnb so the room you get will depend on who you booked with. Ours was via booking.com.
We stayed twice and both rooms were 2 bed apartments. Good size, nice layout but furnished and cleaned to different standards. Priced between 350myr to 250myr per night depending on the host.
Since it's an Airbnb style booking I will focus on the overall hotel grounds and areas instead of specifically the rooms.
Out first room faced the mosque. The call to prayer might wake some people up, but it was not that noisy if you have AC or fan on already which was our main concern. Properties facing the beachfront are much more prone to noise, beach bars blastic music, fire dances, fireworks etc.
The 2nd room faced the mountains. Some road noise from loud cars or bikes but otherwise a nice view of the hillside.
The gym and pool are located on the 1st floor. Well equipped, clean and maintained very well. Gym shuts at 9pm which is too early imo. The pool gets a good amount of sun on it.
The whole grounds are quite nicely kept. Staff are constantly cleaning all areas of the grounds. In just 1 week we saw elevator maintenance, painting the car park walls, mopping the car park daily, cleaning overhead pipes, gardening near the pool, mopping interior halls, brushing the walls in the halls. The car park floor was cleaner than one of our rooms flooring...
Security are nice and regularly patrol all around the site. It's a well maintained building.
Short walk to the beach and all the various restaurants or cafes in Batu ferringhi. Not much to do in Batu ferringhi itself but can't go wrong with this hotel and...
