The Parenthood Toppen Shopping Centre — Attraction in Johor

I am a mum who likes to explore different playgrounds (indoor&outdoor) with my 3 yrs old. Giving them 5 stars since this is so far the best one I have been around JB area, though more improvement needed.

My review is based on their unit at L3:

Equipment & games 5 ⭐ The combination of climbs, obstacles, & slides are exciting & fun. Challenging enough for toddlers & above. Not just plain toys like so many other playground has.

Space & environment 5 ⭐ Spacious with good overall layout where we don't feel cramp on Sat when it's super crowded, plus all the guardians sitting in the playground area. Brightly lit, well cooled by strong air-con. None of the indoor playgrounds we went has such cooling environment.

Facilities, cleanliness, maintenance 4 ⭐ No lockers. Overall well maintained. But they really need to clean more often especially the corners & edges. Obvious strings of hair, dust, popcorn are seen.

Price 4 ⭐ Weekday is cheap RM19.50, Weekend is expensive RM39, above average price. Unlimited play time, can exit & re-enter within the same day. However, I hope that they can offer customer another hourly rate option.

Indoor playground located inside Toppen shopping mall. Their package offers entry either to one floor only(2nd or 3rd) or both floors. Weekdays rate is way cheaper to weekend. I paid RM55(weekend rate) for both 2nd and 3rd floor. 2nd floor consist of blocks and simple games which will be more suitable for smaller children. 3rd floor consist of slides mostly. Quite worth it if you could go weekdays due to price and crowd. Liked the ambience and my son loved it very much. They have limited staffs where only 2-3 experienced staffs and remaining ones are very young hence not much observation given to the play area. The process to download and install the Parenthood app little difficult as the network coverage got some issue. Safety I would give 4 out of 5. Some of the toys need proper maintenance however the staff who was there at that time is willing to do changes needed which made me satisfied. Overall will definitely revisit as not a bad place though for the children...

This is really value for money place! I came on weekday and only choose 1 level Which means only 19.5RM for whole day (1 free adult per kid, additional adult at 5RM)

Level 2 provides place for toddler, i think suitable for 1-3 years Level 3 provides place for bigger kids, but i believe 2.5 years above are suitable here. It is more challenging as it involves a lot of climbing (not wall climbing just stairs) and taller slides.

The place is a little dirty, u can feel the dust but still on acceptable level. I wouldn’t mind it for my toddler as after all a little dirt help to build their immunity!
