Let's talk about the environment first as this is the first impression when we walked into the outlet. The shop is located strategically at Level 1, right after the escalator goes into Ikea but the outlet is right turning. So, the location wise it should be quite noticeable to passersby. We flipped the menu display and found the food was interesting enough to make us go further to try. But, the moment we stepped into the shop, we could smell an uncomfortable odor inside. It is quite unbearable for us personally hence we move to sit outside the shop which they have few tables chairs for customers. Was queuing at the entrance and there’s no seat so one of the male staff asked us to wait, after that there’s a family came after us and the Chinese female staff came to ask them how many person, when’s there customer leaving, table available, she straightaway arranged for the family behind us and asked them if they need baby chair and ignore us and WE ARE IN THE FIRST QUEUE, she never even asked about us and the male staff who attended to us just now also did not inform her we were the first to queue. First and foremost, FOH service staffs well trained. Attentive, responsive and efficient. Would be even better with smiles on their face. Ordered the Pan Mee with Century Egg and Onsen Egg and small fried snacks. Fantastic! Noodle looks plain, but the flavouring from the sauce is on-point! Noodle texture is just right. Fried snacks are good as well. Menu selection is well rounded and definitely entice diners for more returned trips. However, why missing 1 star? My plate had a chipped corner. Big no no in FnB.
