Bad experience here.
Went during Ramadhan for iftar / break fast.
Gotta wait for an hour. Only managed to get seat at around 8.40pm.
Paid for Premium Menu. My advice to everyone coming here, don't take the premium ones. Not fresh compared to normal ones.
Started dinner at seat at 8.40pm, at 9.15pm, drinks started been cleared and washed. Even hot drinks been cleared. Only left is the carbonated slurpee / ice blended. Tell us first at least so we could take our drinks before you clear things up maybe? Its really common sense though.
If you knew you will start clean up around 9pm, couldn't you at least tell us the customer before we pay and decide to eat here? Seems like we were only given less than half an hour to grill our food and eat. Is that even possible for us to eat these kinds of dishes within half an hour?
Seriously, we wouldn't mind if you wanna clear things up starting at 9,because we understand if the staffs need to clean everything up before closing, but if you could at least let us know earlier, we wouldn't have to wait for an hour to get our table and given less than half an hour to enjoy our food. Paid +/- RM100 for this not so great experience. Wasted my...
Read moreSeoul Garden Steamboat & Grill is located in Toppen JB Mall and offers a Korean-style dining experience. The restaurant operates on an all-you-can-eat concept with a dining time limit of 120 minutes. The pricing is RM62 for the normal package and RM67 for the superior package, with the latter offering premium cuts such as striploin and more.
In terms of flavor, the grilled items are mildly seasoned and not heavily marinated. The selection for both the steamboat and grill is somewhat limited. For the soup base, I chose Kimchi Tom Yum and White Soup, both of which I enjoyed the most.
Apart from the steamboat and grill options, the restaurant also provides a selection of desserts and ready-to-eat dishes, including ice cream, fresh fruits, nuggets, fried chicken, and nasi goreng.
While the dining experience is decent, I personally feel that for RM62, there are other places that may offer a wider variety at a more affordable price. However, if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine, it could still be...
Read moreSeoul Garden at Toppen could possibly be the worst food experience we’ve had at Seoul Garden. The selection was extremely limited—only 2-3 grill options per meat, chicken, or fish, none of which were marinated. The condiment choices were basic, with no chili sauce available. While there were eight ice cream flavors, there were no syrups or toppings to complement them.
The grilling experience was frustrating—too much oil on the parchment paper caused it to burn quickly, requiring frequent and annoying replacements. On top of that, the staff were unapproachable, making the overall experience even less enjoyable.
With all these issues, we were out within 60 minutes, which says a lot. The only saving grace was the decent ambiance, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the...
