Gogirou Korean BBQ Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

My family and I recently dined at Gogirou Korean BBQ at Toppen Mall and ordered Set C for 4 pax, which included bulgogi, bibimbap, seafood pancake, soft tofu stew, marinated beef ribs, and beef ribeye. Unfortunately, they informed us that the beef ribs were out of stock and substituted them with more beef ribeye, which we agreed to. We also added fried chicken skin and ramyeon to our order.

While the portion sizes were generous, that was the only positive aspect of our experience. The quality of the beef was extremely disappointing – it was so chewy that I eventually gave up trying to eat it. The bibimbap was bland and lacked flavour, while the seafood pancake was overly thick with flour, making it unappetizing.

The bulgogi wasn’t served, but honestly, based on the rest of the meal, I didn’t bother asking for it. The ramyeon (instant noodles) tasted dull and lacked seasoning – it’s surprising how even instant noodles could turn out so poorly.

The only item I could finish was the fried chicken skin, which says a lot about the rest of the food. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for...

I'm writing these review to express my disappointment on your restaurant's staff rude attitude (showing dissatisfying face while we are ordering food, the Filipino female staff even clean up our table the time while we are still dining OMG!!!!! Hmmm, we noticed our dining time not even reach 90 minutes....) , food quality (we ordered Rib eye steak but the one we received are even more worst than frozen beef...harden meat-- really hard to chew, the staff even mixed up all the meats inside 1 big bowl with half filled blood water...appetite already gone before dining....) , bad facilities (no toilet inside is ok for me however there is not even a hand wash basin, so we have to walk to Mall's toilet which is a few minutes distance just to wash our hand), hygiene (still acceptable), price (over priced!!!!! With this kind of poor food quality, low price food court food is MUCH MUCH MORE BETTER...

Gogirou Korean BBQ Restaurant at Toppen JB exceeded all expectations! The food was incredible, with a wide variety of high-quality meats and delicious banchan.
