Bar.B.Q Plaza @ TOPPEN Johor Bahru — Restaurant in Johor

It is a very disappointed dinner experience. At afternoon, I make a call to Toppen BarBQ Plaza but they do not receive my call. I call them because of asking the promotion and make reservation. However, I decided to go ahead with my friend. When I reached outlet and ask the promo, it was not available but it’s okay maybe my mistake but at least receive my phone call to answer my question. Unfortunately, when I clarify with Chinese staff, he said Google show the outlet number is not tally with the Toppen outlet… I was totally stunned and speechless. Is it my fault!? Okay. I accept the apologies from Chinese staff.

The dining experience for me is not good at all. My friend needs to pour the soup by himself. I saw that the staff was doing nothing and sit on the sofa. I not mind the promotion not provide to me but for the service pls be attentive to guest pls. The final bill charge me service tax charge is really funny to me and my friend. The staffs didn’t mention that the eating period is limited to 2 hours. I ordered buffet but they didn’t tell me when I ordered. Keep coming by the table and count down-ing at the last 10 minutes ! Seriously ?? He even stated that if there is a waste of food there will be penalty. YOU SHOULD HAVE TELL US we only have 2 hours eating period at the beginning, as so we will choose other restaurant. EXTREMELY ANNOYED when you’re having your meal and a waiter kept looking at you and keep counting down chasing you to leave.

Would say they had an upgrade to their super refill menu. If you are going there for all you can eat buffet, do Google before heading there their super refill all you can eat buffet are seasonal. Was very satisfied with the food especially the meat quality was so good. If you are a meat eater check out this place. Unlimited flow of coke and lemonade if you want something less sweet they have tea and water which makes the whole experience better there.
