I had a terrible experience at this salon. I booked an appointment one month in advance to secure a slot for both a haircut and hair coloring, but the service was not up to par

1. On the day of the appointment: The hairstylist cut my hair but didn’t even ask about the coloring until I brought it up. When I asked him about suitable colors, he said, let’s decide after finish cutting. After cutting my hair, he told me to come back another day for coloring because the salon was "full house." Dude, I came to make nicely before cny and u ask me to come in other time? This was incredibly frustrating. Why bother making an appointment so far in advance if you can’t manage your schedule properly? So he ask me if I can come the next day, I was pissed but decided to give it a try.

2. The next day: I returned for coloring because I wanted my hair done nicely before CNY. I asked for a burgundy, wine-red color, but the stylist said red was out of stock. This was shocking, this is supposed to be a professional salon. To make matters worse, I saw two other customers getting their hair dyed red. When I confronted him, he claimed there wasn’t enough left for my hair. Srsly? Unbelievable for such a “reputable” salon to not have enough hair dye?

Since I was already there, I reluctantly agreed to his suggestion of ash brown. After spending RM550, my hair looked exactly the same as before. No difference. The saddest part? No one—neither my family nor my colleagues—could tell that I had cut or dyed my hair. They said it was the same as before. This whole experience was a waste of time and money. I had to come twice for a service that didn’t even meet basic expectations. If the salon knows they can’t handle so many customers or stock up on essentials, they shouldn’t take bookings they...

Had the actual worst salon experience here.

Came in for a 纹理烫 perm emphasising i wanted it to be voluminous but natural. Zi an was my main stylist but the junior stylist was the one who mainly worked on my hair.

Hair bond relaxer and re bonding perm solution was applied to the roots of my hair, causing the weight of the curls to set the hair at the top extremely flat. The top of my head looks even flatter than when i came in with a straight rebond done. When i pointed out that the top of my hair was very flat, they told me it was because of the type of hair i had (i beg to differ)

I also came in last weekend for a dye + cut with a different stylist (turned out great) and separately came in again today for a perm.

Due to some miscommunication they also tried to charge me a separate 168 rm today for a haircut after the perm to 修剪which i felt was unjustified, as i had just gotten it cut here by a different stylist a mere 7 days ago. However, good attempt at service recovery after sensing i was upset by giving me a keratin treatment + shampoo samples.

Overall, this review is based on the outcome of this perm, although the miscommunication did compound on the unpleasant experience. At 520rm for a perm i really don’t think this standard...

My favourite saloon always!

Used to drive down to Melaka for YL to do my French perm but I'm so glad to say the KL branch is equally as skilled and amazing.

Had my appointment with Francis and Kevin.

I walked in expecting to do a perm, but Francis suggested just cutting first to see if that is enough for volume (I had some curls left on my hair's end from last year's perm). At first I was skeptical, but the end result looks even more beautiful and and my hair suffers less damage! I really appreciate his input, professionalism and sincerity in offering the best services for my hair condition regardless of profit. You can't find this in other saloon.

I'm so in awe with how consistent and amazing the hairdressers at Hermaison are. Not to mention the superb service and relaxing atmosphere.
