I’ve tolerated Affin Bank’s login issues for a long time, hoping their system would improve. But this recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the bank.
On 9 May 2025, I changed to a new phone and installed the Affin app. Although my login credentials were 100% correct, I was forced to activate AffinSecure before I could access my account. I followed the auto-activation steps over the phone, but even by 13 May 2025, it was still not activated.
I visited the Ampang Point branch in person, but even the staff there couldn’t help me. As a result, all my important banking matters were delayed unnecessarily.
Affin’s voice support is practically useless — I waited over 20 minutes on the phone and no one picked up. The Live Chat system is just as bad — it logs out automatically halfway through explaining the issue, and I had to restart again and again.
I’ve now transferred all my funds to another bank just to meet my basic banking needs. I will no longer be using any services...
