We liked the below: ✅ Made a reservation around noon and didn't have to wait to be seated when we arrived (weekday night at 7pm) ✅ Collagen soup base was nice ✅ Aprons provided ✅ Many sauces/condiments to choose from + yuzu sorbet to end the night

For the price we paid (avg. RM140 per person), we absolutely HATED the below: ❌❌❌ Had 3 different waitresses serving our table and NONE OF THEM had ANY smile on their faces throughout the whole night! They looked as if we owe them money or something. The restaurant might as well just use robots, if they can't train their service staff. ❌❌ It’s MUCH PRICIER than other hot pot restaurants of the same level, while the food is just so so, there is really NOTHING amazing or special at all. Sauces and condiments cost RM7.90 per person, the meat platter is RM268.90 but only offers a tiny portion, enough for just two people. The beer is also way overpriced. And the dumplings are the smallest dumplings I've ever had, and also not tasty, they're much worse than the frozen dumplings I can get from the supermarket. Don't order the dumplings, you'll get mad seeing how small they are. ❌ Sauces/condiments bar has fruits but sadly no dessert. You can buy your own ice cream from the menu.

Conclusions: Disappointing, unpleasant, and pricey 1️⃣ I don't understand how did this place get their 4.9 stars. 2️⃣ ONLY COME HERE if you want to pay a lot of money for average food served by staff who make you and your party feel bad and unwelcome. 3️⃣ Will NOT return or bring friends here. We had a great experience at Beauty in the Pot! Located on the first floor of The Exchange TRX mall, the restaurant is spacious with a sleek, modern interior. Despite arriving during peak dinner hours without a reservation, the queue system was well-organized, and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table.

The service was warm and attentive. One of the servers, who had a new joiner tag, stood out with her friendliness and great service. Despite being new, she was knowledgeable, proactive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She even took the time to explain cooking times, recommend dishes, and let us know about promotions to help us get the best value from our meal.

For the soup base, we went with the collagen and tomato soup in a half pot—both packed with rich, flavorful goodness. We couldn’t stop drinking the broth! The hotpot ingredients were fresh and paired perfectly with the soup bases.

One standout item was the fried beancurd rolls. They were well-seasoned, and their crispy yet airy texture soaked up the broth beautifully, making every bite delicious.

While the prices are on the higher side (about RM380 for four people), the quality of the food and excellent service made it well worth the cost. I’ll definitely be back the next...

This is a restaurant which serves Chinese hotpot with healthy and nice soup It is located at L1 Exchange TRX. The famous here is the mala soup and the scallop soup. The service here is excellent and they provide a very details explanation before you order. They provide an apron to protect the soup spit to your shirt. Air-conditioning restaurant with nice backgrounds for photos. If you are in a big group, it might need to sit separately as every table they have built in the pot. They have Set Lunch offer in this branch and also Tropicana garden and gurney branch.
