Chagee 霸王茶姬 • Exchange 106 TRX — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

My husband and I visited the Chagee TRX 106 outlet today for the first time, but unfortunately, our experience left us upset and disappointed.

We noticed a Malay staff member explaining the "Tear and Win" promotion to another Malay customer. When it was our turn, she did not provide any explanation. My husband asked her about the promotion, and she simply stated that it had already ended. We were about to place our order, but shortly after, another Malay customer arrived, and she explained the promotion in detail to them, even though it was no longer active. We also noticed that she did not provide the same explanation to a Chinese customer who came after us.

It’s not about the promotion it’s about receiving good customer service. As first time visitors to Chagee, we felt neglected and unwelcome. This experience made us so uncomfortable that we decided to leave without ordering.

We would appreciate an explanation for this incident and hope that Chagee ensures all customers are treated equally, regardless of who they are. Good customer service is fundamental, especially for first time customers who may otherwise...

1/9/2024, my first time try the watermelon jasmine tea and visited this outlet. The place is quite mysterious to find inside trx mall. For those who don't know how to go there from exchange trx mall G level where there's concierge counter, you need to go upstairs and search for the signage that write link to exchange 106. Then search for the Sephora shop. To be safer, search for the big chonky cookies orange color shop. In front of it, it has secret path to chagee link to exchange 106. There you will see police guard standing in the middle. Then, turn right and go straight till you see the chagee shop. I have provide the pics of clues attached here. Dear chagee knights, good luck for finding the shop inside trx mall ! Btw the watermelon jasmine tea tastes really good with the cheese on top of it 😍 but there's also watermelon bits and pearl jelly at the below of the drink. Worst experience in chagee I had. I ordered thru mini program and selected no frappe for the drink. However I went to collect and realised that there was frappe on my beverages. I know i definitely will throw the beverage with frappe as i have unsatisfactory gastrointestinal conditions after consume, therefore i was asking why they put frappe even tho i’ve selected no frappe, but the cashier choose to lie to me, he mentioned that this beverage is always come with frappes, it cannot be without frappe. Then im curious and asking back why other branches was doing this and even in the miniprogram have option for no frappe. And i showed him the phone’s ordered, only he willing to take my cup and see the label on it, but end up he just giving excuse that on the label it does not shown with “no frappe”, nothing he can do with it.
