I recently had the opportunity to explore the famous Cameron Highlands Night Market, a vibrant and lively spot that perfectly captures the essence of this unique hill station. Located in Brinchang, this night market is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the local flavors and culture of Cameron Highlands. The market is usually bustling with activity, filled with stalls offering a wide range of products, from fresh local produce to delicious street food and handcrafted souvenirs. One of the things that struck me most about this market is its atmosphere. As you stroll through the bustling lanes, you’re greeted with the aromatic scent of freshly grilled corn, sweet strawberries, and local delicacies like steamboat skewers and fried sweet potatoes. The variety of food options is truly impressive, catering to every palate. I particularly enjoyed the fried mushrooms and the local sweet potato balls, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—perfect for a cool, misty evening. The market also offers a glimpse into the local lifestyle and traditions. It’s a place where you can see families enjoying their time together, tourists eagerly sampling different foods, and vendors enthusiastically showcasing their products. I found it fascinating to interact with the stall owners, who were more than happy to share stories about their produce and the history of the market. Despite its popularity, the night market retains a local charm that’s hard to find in more commercialized tourist spots. I recommend visiting early to avoid the crowd and to get the freshest picks, especially if you’re looking to buy some of the region’s famous tea, honey, or strawberries. Overall, the Cameron Highlands Night Market offers a perfect blend of flavors, culture, and community spirit. It’s a place where you can truly experience the heart and soul of Cameron Highlands. Whether you’re a food enthusiast or simply looking to soak in the local vibe, this night market should definitely be on your itinerary.

Great place to walk through. Cheap and fresh vegetables, flowers, fruits can be found. Strawberries can be found commonly for cheaper prices in the night market. Food items such as Lamb, chicken and beef chops are available. Grilled meat and Burgers can be found. Nasi goreng, Mee goreng and all local cuisine were available at the market. Sweet potato, and sweet corn were very popular among the crowd and people were enjoying the with various drinks. Teh Tarik Ice, Ice lemon tea, herbal tea, lychee lemon detox and many more can be found at the market place. Further, soft toys like balloons, Teddy bears, Cameron teddies can be found too. Cameron themed Cushions, tee shirts and sweaters can also be found at the market place. Place was little crowded and traffic at the main road due to vehicles parked at the roadside. However vehicles are not permitted to park or drive around market area. It is recommend to park your car somewhere near to the road and walk by towards the night Market. Further, people were very friendly and nice where you can ask for free samples of almost anything. You can enjoy good street food and cheap shopping while experiencing real Cameron strawberries with chocolate.

Pros: • A stunning place to visit with a wide range of things to explore; from food to souvenirs, fresh produce, clothes, toys, etc. • The atmosphere is vibrant and bustling making it a real highlight of Cameron Highlands. • Large variety of food stalls offering local and street-style options. • Prices are still generally reasonable despite it being a tourist spot. • We especially loved the cactus booth and personally picked up quite a few lovely little pots. Cons: • Only one way in and out of the area, so traffic can be a nightmare during weekends or public holidays. Planning ahead is crucial. • Open-air parking available at RM3 per entry, but it fills up quickly during peak times. • If it rains, it’s unfortunately kinda game over. The market is fully outdoors, and the parking area can become muddy and unpleasant. • Could really benefit from having more rubbish bins placed around the market to help with litter control. Personal Thoughts: • It’s certainly worth a visit, especially if it’s your first time. Plenty to see, eat, and buy; from snacks to souvenirs. • I personally love the vibe of this place, but if you prefer a quieter stroll, try to avoid weekends and public holidays.

Its one of the MUST-VISIT-LISTS when you are planning to have a vacation at Cameron Highlands. Previously it was at other location which is not far away from this relocation Night Market. The relocation take place as to minimize a heavy traffic congestion at previous location.Opens on every Friday and Saturday night, its offers so many local farming products such as Corn, Strawberry, Vegetables, Fruits, Flowers etc. What I do realize most of them are organic products and fresh from the farms nearby. The good thing about this night market, as there are many sellers you have a chance to compare, bargain and choose items at the best price. Its fully packed and crowded at the peak hours especially at night. If you are staying around there, you are so lucky as its just a stone away from this night market. If not you need to set a drive to Golden Hills where this night market took place. Then there are few private car park at a fee of RM3 per entrace.

Note:- -Avoid to come at 10.30pm above as they are packaging their products and their vans and lorries are started queing inside the lane. You will have trouble to walk. -The good thing sometimes when you are late arriving to this night market you will get a "bundle-pax-price" as the sellers just want to clear up their products...
