Dataran Teluk Cempedak Kuantan — Attraction in Pahang

Teluk Chempedak has a long, magnificent beach, on the South Chine Sea ocean. In the evening, the place is buzzing with people of all ages. Lots of activities go on there such as kite playing, wading in the water, strolling at the edge of the water, and some are doing excercise on the excercise beams available at the beach. While others are just watching the sea rolling in and out, basking in the sounds of the waves or just relaxing on the beach. I couldn't help feeling so blessed that we are still able to see and enjoy the beach in a safe environment. There's no floods or tsunami or even heavy rain. The air was warm but the breeze cools it down. On the left side, is a walking bridge for the public to venture more of the other side of the beach. I did not take that walk as I was ill-prepared and did not come with good walking shoes. Remember Bukit kayu hitam? Don't go there. Come here. Might not be as big but you don't have to cross border for sightseeing about what is up. Everything are paraded here on the people. Latest fashion, cars, phones, gadgets, obsessions and all. Have a seat and they'll drive and walk pass you. Another thing, if you are into "couldn't care less" attitude about what people thought and say about your suppressed singing talent, pick up a mic at open karaoke stages lining the parking lot. Zamirul Tom Yam, Laypark Corner are amongst frequently visited by those wannabe but 'don't-want-to-be' talents. If ure a back packer theres two rows of government building that has been converted to a resthouse/hotel. Gud enough for resting.

The beach itself is nice. Good for swimming. Also a lot of ppl come for recreation activity. U can find a multuple costume wearing people wabdering around abd can take photo wuth them with some tips. Since its easily accessible, a local crowd will add more people to the place. Local night bazar is a place where u can find a lot of stuff.

The bazaar also comes with a lot of eating shop. U can find variety of local and westerb food offered.

Try the bridge along the beach. Dont bring pack food uncovered. A lot of monkey waiting that sometime simply grab your food...
