The Sky Inn — Hotel in Pahang

This was my experiences with my family for 2d1n at The Sky Inn. The staff that waited for us at the receptionist that night was very patient, because we arrived late that night (traffic jammed on Hari Raya). So the room was very very very dirty to the point my neck have rashes when it comes to the pillow. Goshhh, they didn't even clean the pillow thoroughly. They just rearrange them back for the next customer. And there's a lot of dust under the pillow and even a lot of STRAND OF HAIR on the floor. Like, A LOT. What shocks me the most was there's a cokcroach in the room! It makes ME and My Family felt uncomfortable during our stay at The Sky Inn :((((((( The bathroom also dirty, the wall have holes everywhere. On the next morning we checked out, but the staff there told us that there's a missing towel in our room. We told them there's no towel in our bag (because we already put the bags in our car), but the staff there insisted that there's a missing towel. So we have no choice but to bring out ALL of our bags from the car to the receptionist area, to show them that we really didn't bring their towel back with us (as in the pictures). Sorry, had to give this 1star because of the bad experience during our stay here. Hope to see this place improve in terms of cleanliness and their service system when it comes to their belongings in the room. Not gonna stay at this place again and probably won't recommend this...

Plus points: Walking distance to the beach. Lots of eateries - mcd, KFC, Starbucks, food stalls Some sort of night market within walking distance Cleanliness acceptable. Towel, shampoo, bath soap provided. Helpful staff.

Minus points: Have to pay for parking. Bigger cars pay double. Small room with no window. Not sure if they have room with window. Room with balcony - still no window & balcony is shared with 3 other rooms. Smoking allowed in the balcony as we see ashtray & ciggies stubs. For Muslims, difficult to perform prayers. Hardly any room to spread your prayer mat. Either you block the door to the room or block the toilet & door to balcony. Arrangement of mirror & console table funny due to small room size. I'm not tall but I kept knocking my head against the TV whenever I use the mirror. Other than the chain restaurants, food served at the nearby stalls/restaurants are really not good. So if you are thinking of staying here, don't include good food as one of your reasons. Have to leave your shoes inside the entrance. No shoes allowed...

the utilities of the room weren't in good conditions, i stayed for a night with my family and when i first checked in the room i saw a strand of hair which i believe was not mine, i flipped the pillow and there's a dirty insects, the toilet was very dirty as if it hasn't been clean for a while, the next morning i woke up with a cockroach near my bed.. that shows how much the room hasn't been in maintenance and when i check out of the place, the staff claimed that there's not enough towel as we first checked in..but i double checked all of my familys bags to make sure we dont accidentally bring anything home.. the place management is very low, they didn't list all of the things they put in our room and when we're ready to check out they claim as if we took it from the room,

please clean the room regularly, especially the toilet and make sure you list all of the things you put in the room so your guest aware of it !!
