Read moreWanted to go to Teluk Cempedak for a walk in the morning, I've decided to visit this rather famous curry noodle shop that I see online.
The shop was proper busy when we reached it at almost 10am. We were quite lucky to spot an empty table rather quickly and seated ourselves, but it still took the waitress aunty quite a while to get to take our orders. From what I see, she was the only person that was in charge of taking order, arranging seating, managing the foreign workers and being the cashier. The food preparation also took a while. By the time we got our noodle, it was already 45 minutes since we arrived.
I ordered the Chicken Curry Noodle Soup with added cockles, while my gf ordered Curry Noodle Soup with Fish balls. The chicken was very tender and juicy. However, the cockles were rather tiny, which was a slight disappointment. Alongside the noodle were fish cakes and tofu pok, standards in many curry noodle.

Don't be fooled by its presentation - the portion was deceptively large, and I was completely filled after the meal.
The price of the noodle was very affordable, and it was great choice for a late breakfast. I'd recommend giving this a try, and maybe if you can reach earlier than we did, it'd be less busy and have a...
