Inside Scoop De Garden, Ipoh — Attraction in Perak

Look, I love your ice creams and the great variety of rotating flavours, especially those with a local slant like Musang King and Taro. That makes you guys a viable option to Baskin Robbins and Haagen Dazs. In fact, my kids love Rocher so much they remember your shop name by Rocher and not Inside Scoop.

So, I come from a place of love and hope you keep up the good work. Decor, flavours... Keep doing what you love. Your staff are great too because they provide service with a smile. That being said, here are my niggles with Inside Scoop that need fine tuning more than anything.

1. Prices are expensive. Nearly all flavours have a RM2 surcharge nowadays. Add that to another RM2 surcharge for cone, and you can imagine a very expensive afternoon out for ice cream for the whole family. Might as well raise the base price right?

2. Ice cream cakes while imaginative, are still not near the quality of Baskin Robbins. Flavours are fixed too. BR manages to offer flavour choices and combos that mix well together, so you're never bored of their cakes.

3. No more alcohol-based flavours. I understand you're expanding the market, but opening another sub-brand that offers non-halal flavours and at a smaller scale simply means, I won't be able to try them in the foreseeable future.

Best I ever cream and waffle so far . The softness and texture of the ice cream and delicious waffle , I bet you can’t get anywhere nicer than this . They always have new flavors coming in and almost all the flavors are so nice and yummy . They never failed to impress us . But today we’ve waited long for the staff to attend to us as only one girl is working at the counter and the other girl is inside the store . And this girl at the counter had to take order and served the ice cream by herself . And the time I visited the store is at about 1.30pm on a Sunday . Otherwise than that the place is nice and chill . Restaurant is clean and well maintained . For those ice cream and waffle lovers , inside scoop is highly recommended! Parking here at De Garden is a bit hard during busy hours like weekends and...
