Located in Ipoh city,its give you a lot of information about the establishment of Bandar Ipoh. It's name originally taken from "Pokok Ipuh" as i remember..the uncle that served as guard is actually an air force veteran (on the right in the photo,wearing the cap..already ask his permission to post this photo)..here you can learn a lot and your kids might love it..there is no entrance fee..love the vibe when you enter the museum..unfortunately,during my visit on this time,i was no able to experience the underground tunnel as it was closed for renovation work..however,its doesnt bother me at all..my kids love this...

Its a free entrance of very small museum and the museum had seasonal theme exhibition by time to time..this time, nothing much to see only had 2 diorama set, a whole information board and posters about malay in emergency during communist gherila war with malaysia police and malaysia army.. and real 6 weapon display like Lee Enfield Rifle and else

Entrance Fee: FREE

There is ample parking space, and the security guards are friendly and welcoming.

However, I feel the museum's name doesn’t quite align with its content. It's called Muzium Darul Ridzuan, but the gallery mainly focuses on Ipoh and Kinta. I had expected the museum to cover the entire Perak region.
