Bad service. We ordered lamb haneeth (served in aluminum foil), but they sent us chicken haneeth that is also served in aluminum foil. With gravy covering the chicken, we didnt know that they had wrongly served us chicken instead of lamb, until we 'touched' the chicken. Everything was fine, they get the chicken changed to lamb as per our order. Few minutes later the restaurant's manager came to our table and in sarcastic way told us loud that we should not touch our food should we found that the food served was wrong!. I tried to hold my anger to not argue with him at my table in front of others. He then left us after he left the chicken on our table and said we can have it for free..nope, we didnt take the free stuff offered in such rude manner!. I then went to see him at his cashier counter then told him that there is no way especially for first time customer to know that the meat packed in aluminum foil, covered with gravy is chicken or beef without touching it!. And you are not supposed to shout to me on my table in front of ur other customer for the mistake that originally started from your side. U can always pull me to one side and talk over the matter. Totally upset with this first experience in his restaurant. Will...
Read moreMy family has been going here for years, and I believe it is one of the best choices for Arabic food in Ipoh. Unfortunately, my visit on August 31, 2025, was not as enjoyable as my prior visits. As their name and reputation grew over time, I felt they no longer valued customer satisfaction. I ordered two of my favourite chicken maqlubas, and it was a mess. First, they did not include the caramelised onion (the main reason I order this food), and when asked, they just stated, 'Out of stock.' What the heck? They should have told me about it straight away so I could purchase a different meal. It's not like they are going to offer me a discount for incomplete sets, right? The waiter drops my wife's papadom while serving the food, picks it up, and goes away without replacing it. Even the gravy felt plain and had fewer ingredients. Simply awful service levels. It appears that it is time for me and my family to consider other Arabic food...
Read more👎👎. 0/10. Paradise? I don't know about the other food. I had the worst Kunafa and Adani tea here ever.
Let's talk about their Kunafa first. It jst looked like well soaked bihun burnt on top, and stuffed with some cheese strips inside. I jst had the feeling they had it frozen and didn't even heat it up well. You are supposed to get the experience of the cheese being able to be pulled into strings but sadly theirs the cheese was jst frozen strips inside. It tasted like shredded roti mixed with sugar syrup. Really bad.
Their Adani tea was merely a teh tarik mixed with some spices which didn't really have the taste or essence of the spices as well. I doubt if they're using cheap old spices, or even spices from others tea. It seriously didn't have the taste of spices at all. Come on lah bro, it honestly tasted like freaking teh tarik with damn a lot of sugar.
Worse experience of an...
