Reporting a very rude customer service personnel I had encountered twice in the Ikano IPC customer service counter. Today 27 .11.23 between 11.30 to 12 noon she has long shoulder length hair believe to be chinese or mix ethniticy . I arrive at the counter to have my parking validated , she was on the phone, instead of politely saying please wait she rudely pointed up her finger at me to claim I am busy on the phone just wait....I report this is because such a personnel should go for customer service training, they represent your organization. I am a residant for over 25 years in Mutiara damansara, I watch Ikea surrounding grew to where it is today. I shop at Ben's grocer weekly, and I recycle weekly loving the mall with sentiment. But employing someone with such arrogance no customer ethics spoils my desire to return to your mall. Do please check out who this arrogant personnel is, thankfully another staff a lovely muslim staff came to my rescue while this rude woman kept chatting on her phone without even a glance of apology when she lifted her finger at me to say I am busy! The kind muslim staff even shared with me while validating my car parking I could validate my points as a member of IPC . I shop frequently in Harvey Normans, Pet Safari, Spotlight and Ben's even Ikea not once has this nasty personnel I had encountered previously ever disclose to assist to update my IPC membeship points upon validating my car parking after the minimun of 100 ringgit purchase, yet most time my purchases exceed's the limit! Whether she is a manager seating at the customer counter or assistant manager or supervisor her behaviour is worst than a non educated non English speaking personnel who do not deserve to serve customers with such dark attitude. Let alone be the frontliner of your prestigeous corporation when you work in a retail...
Read moreIPC Shopping Centre in Mutiara Damansara is one of my favourite go-to malls in the area. It’s not overly crowded like some of the bigger malls nearby, which makes shopping and dining a lot more comfortable.
What I love:
Family-friendly vibes: Clean, spacious walkways, and lots of kid-friendly facilities like the outdoor playground and baby changing rooms.
Variety of shops: From fashion to home decor, especially if you love IKEA next door – it’s super convenient. There's also a great mix of local and international brands.
Dining options: The food court (Foodland) has improved a lot! Plenty of choices from Asian to Western. The restaurants on the ground floor also offer cozy hangouts.
Parking: Affordable and easy to find, with plenty of electric vehicle charging stations too.
Sustainability efforts: Their eco-initiatives like recycling stations and green spaces make shopping feel more responsible.
Minor areas for improvement: Weekend traffic in the surrounding area can be a bit of a hassle, especially near IKEA.
Some tenants change quite often, so if you’re looking for a specific shop, better to check before going.
Overall, IPC is a great place for casual shopping, family outings, or just a chill day out with friends. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable and clean mall...
