I took my three kids for kids treetop climbing gym on 11.10.2024, 12:30 pm session . I realised it was a good exercise for my other two younger boys when I saw my first son halfway doing it. And my two younger boys joined him in the same session. There is one particular instructor named ‘Ira’ , she was clearly not trained how to communicate to kids. Throughout the course she was instructing them in not very kids friendly way, but I just left it as I was busy monitoring and encouraging my boys to finish each challenging course. I also noticed when one of my son stuck and was clueless how to move forward, she was just laughing and shook the rope to make him feel even more frightened to take another step instead of guiding or encouraging him. Me and another mum there were discussing how clearly this person is not trained to be kids climbing instructor. Then one of my son finished the rope course, and he was quite hesitant to go for second round, it took me good 5 minutes to give him the confidence to go second round, finally when he gathered his confidence decided to go, some exchange happened , he wrongly held the rope, and she was so rude and shouted at him for that. And he came to me crying. I told her that’s not the way how you talk to kids, especially when they need guidance and encouragement to finish this challenging course, she just answered me in a loud and rude manner that she is the instructor so she has all the rights to act whatever way she wants. I am very dissatisfied and utterly disappointed with her behaviour and also with the rest of the team members, everyone just went and hid behind the counter when I went up looking for person in charge. I hope I get an explanation for this incident, it is not acceptable at all! I can provide all the evidences to prove her...
Read moreToday, my experience at Treetop Adventure was extremely disappointing. When I purchased the tickets, the staff told me that the climbing game could be played at least three times within an hour. However, the instructor today did not manage or handle things properly and in a timely manner. They placed a younger girl in the fourth spot, out of a total of 11 people. The girl climbed very slowly and was scared, which caused delays for the other kids, including my two children, who had to wait on the ropes. We waited for a whole hour, not because the course was difficult, but because we were waiting for the girl in front of us. At one point, the girl cried and said she didn’t want to continue, and the instructor went to assist her, even helping her complete the course. Meanwhile, no one attended to the kids waiting on the ropes behind her. I understand that the girl is young, but why wasn’t she placed later in the queue or given a separate time slot? Why make the other kids wait so long? My children’s hands hurt from holding onto the ropes for so long. The instructor, regardless of gender, had a poor attitude. At RM30 per person, it’s really not worth it, let alone the full...
Read moreWent last week for a group activity and it was awesome. It started raining after, some parts were covered but some obstacles can get slippery. The crew were pretty nice and friendly, though I would suggest to station a vocal and encouraging staff at obstacles that are more challenging. There was an obstacle where the lady in front of me was stuck (I don't blame her, it was one of the difficult ones), and the staff at the other end didn't encourage or teach her how to get across, he said some stuff but it was soft and we couldn't hear past the waterfall noises. He even looked a bit 'sien' after she tried her best to attempt the challenge a few times. I felt a bit bad for the lady so I started encouraging her instead 😅 Apart from that, everything else was great :) I would suggest long pants, and even long sleeve if possible, to avoid rope burn / friction...
