Gamaro Chicken & Burger — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Food Food was not good, especially considering the price. We ordered soy garlic fried chicken, a double cheese fried chicken burger that came with some fries, and the free cheese powdered fries from this review. The honey fried chicken was the best of the lot, it had a decent enough sweet sauce, but the chicken was not completely covered in fried batter, and the batter was not especially crispy. The burger itself was subpar, there's barely any taste to the burger, and the bun was soggy and feels like a cheap bun. The only decent thing was that the meat was not dry and tough. The fries that came with the burger was cold, and hence not crispy at all. There's barely any taste to the fries too. However, the cheese powdered fries were crispy and hot, and this dish was honestly ok, but the powder was too sweet for me, but it is just my preference.

Given the other high praising reviews and the price, this has been a very disappointing experience.

Service The food came out slow, and some of the items like the tissues and gloves were given for one person instead of two.

Atmosphere The place is well lit, but the music was too loud...

First opinion about Gamaro Chicken restaurant : the burger sure is big and delicious like the advertisement! It is located beside K-Plus Market with a striking orange signboard!

After eating it : yes, it is indeed delicious! but sadly, the portion was a bit dissappointed.

Pros ; very clean have a korean feeling vibe burger are superbly delicious! freshly made after you purchase an order the burger buns are damn soft!

Cons ; the burger are suprisingly a bit smaller than what you expected for the price waiting time is a bit longer since it's freshly made maybe should implement a set that comes with drinks

Overall, it was a pleasant experience indeed. Just i hope that with the price, either you upgrade the set with drinks or enlarge the burger potion.

Randomly tried to have a lunch here in Gamaro. Cirspy boneless chicken is worth the price, garlic soy sauce is really delicious (it is sweet, i thought it is honey soy) but the fried tteok is so off, better you consider to serve ordinary tteok but not fried one, it is almost inedible coz too chewy. We asked whether we ca n order the boneless chicken with separate garlic soy sauce (worried if my daughter doesn't like the taste but too much if we ordered 1 original and 1 garlic soy crispy chicken) but they said it is not possible. What's so difficult to serve fried boneless chicken and a cup of garlic soy sauce? A bit disappointed.

Burger looks appetizing. Rice ball is okay, decent portion, it fell a part tho but my daughter loves it.
